Whether it’s water music on a glittering lake or shadow plays in the Karl Foerster Garden, paired with piano music on the garden artist’s freshly restored Westermeyer grand piano – Tour 2 leaves nothing to be desired, both scenically and musically. In the Geltow hand-weaving mill, the looms set the rhythm, while the Vulcan Fiber Factory in Werder is filled with the lush string sound of the TIEFSAITS ensemble. The sound of the theremin resonates at the Max Planck Institute, where you can also discover whether plants can hear. The ancient tones of the shofar invite contemplation of light and shadow in the mourning hall of the Jewish cemetery, before Tour 2 also immerses itself in the “Nordic Night” at St. Nicholas’ Church.
