What prompted you to play theremin?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I first saw it payed by Jean Michele Jarre \u2014 and I was like » what IS that ? «
so I bought one. I fell SO in love with it instantly , that I abandoned my 9 other musical instruments to devote ALL my attention to it.<\/p>\n

What were your first feelings when you heard the sounds of theremin and where did it happen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t believe it. Then I loved it.<\/p>\n

What is your musical philosophy and what place it occupies a theremin?<\/strong><\/p>\n

That the Theremin is the only instrument that you can literally pull music out of thin air . That\u2019s still my strongest impression\/love for it<\/p>\n

Prospects for theremin and its place in modern music space \u2014 how you see them? For what qualities you value this tool?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

The theremins place in modern music is 2 fold. first , to perform music the audiences recognize , second , to bring it into new , uncharted musical territory. ( Lydia is doing that now )<\/p>\n

Which manufacturer of theremin do you prefer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am endorsed by MOOG \u2014 so I have to say MOOG.<\/p>\n

What you can recommend for beginners thereminists, or those who are just going to start their way of thereminist?<\/strong><\/p>\n
