The premiere will take place at a concert, which aims to establish a new Guinness World Record as the largest ensemble of theremins in the world. Masami Takeuchi and his students are planning to beat their own 2013 world record (273 performers on matryomin). Matryomin is a kind of theremin &#8212; a Russian matryoshka, in the case of which the antenna that controls the height of sound is hidden.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1852 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/theremintimes.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image-1-700x463.jpg\" alt=\"Marios\" width=\"474\" height=\"314\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theremin.today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image-1-700x463.jpg 700w, https:\/\/theremin.today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image-1-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theremin.today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image-1-768x508.jpg 768w, https:\/\/theremin.today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image-1.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times;\">The event will be held in Tokyo in 2019 under the leadership of the Japanese virtuoso performer on the theremin and inventor of the matryomin, Masami Takeuchi.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times;\">The composition of Elia will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the invention of the theremin, created by the Russian inventor L\u00e9on Theremin. It will be also performed at a memorable concert in Tokyo in 2019, under the direction of Masami Takeuchi, with the participation of L\u00e9on Theremin\u2019s great-grandson, head of the Russian Theremin School, Peter Theremin.
